Last night we had acrobats entertaining us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We started Day Three with breakfast on the terrace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then we drove clockwise round the whole island. (See map from Day One) We drove through the mountains, with hairpin bends and along newer roads with tunnels cut through the rock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We strayed from the route to visit Firgas, with its waterfall, tiled benches and 3d sculptures and pictures of each of the Canary Islands. It was a nightmare to park!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a long day – 9 hours – but great views of bare rock but also green valleys growing tomatoes and bananas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Time to chill before dinner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
