Northern Ireland – Day 2

Unfortunately it rained for most of the day today so we spent some time enjoying our lovely house and then took a drive along the Causeway Coastal Road to Portrush.

We started at Ballintoy.

We saw the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge. The braver souls amongst us may attempt it later in the week.

Portballintrae has a good beach to visit on a better day.

Returning to our temporary home we drove down our tree lined drive, to Knockanboy House.

  1. Shame it rained but it is Ireland! Better luck today. The scenery looks lovely, are you the only people there? 🤣 It looks very quiet. No way would you get me on the rope bridge 😱😱.
To make you feel better about the weather, we had a monsoon yesterday, flooded roads and the village was awash, the pub had to shut☹️. Enjoy today.

    • We have seen floods everywhere in England on TV.
It is quiet then suddenly a coach arrives and hoards of people alight!
I won’t be on the rope bridge either!
